Such situations arise, for example, in timber yards, steel yards and ports, where items get stacked on top of or in front of one another, and then some have to be moved to access others. Even if the items start out being stored neatly and logically, that quickly becomes history as items are constantly moved about. Very soon it's taking 10 minutes, 30 minutes or even hours to find a particular item.

With our solutions, recording the movement of an item to a new location is easy, and can even be automated. Finding it again is then quick and simple.

Just-in-Time Stock Traceability

Do you have lots of identical items that, when they are shipped, need to have their pack number and source recorded, but to do so for each item as it arrives is impractical or expensive? Then we have a solution for you.

Our systems allow you to keep track of the quantity and location of stock received in bulk, but record the details of each item only when you have easy access to it – when you ship it. This method also automatically verifies that all (and only) the correct items have been loaded.
